At Oak Bay’s Fort Royal Pharmacy, a last-minute delivery means a safer holiday season for many.
“We received over 500 doses of the Moderna for the booster program and we opened up our slots today and pretty much filled up within five minutes,” said Hans Bawa, who manages Fort Pharmacy Oak Bay.
Several local pharmacies are getting surprise doses of AstraZeneca this week. Hans Bawa, co-owner of the Fort Royal Pharmacy in Oak Bay, spoke with Al about how they're going to use these extra doses.

The Fort Royal Pharmacy in Victoria has been busy this past weekend, doling out doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
